Massey Ferguson 132.02 – ECU: Air Flow Sensor Signal Issue (ECU)
Issue description
The controller is receiving an erratic, incorrect, or missing signal from the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, which measures the volume and density of air entering the engine to calculate proper fuel delivery.

Check the cause
Inspect the Wiring: Check the pigtail harness and connector leading to the Mass Air Flow sensor for frayed wires, corrosion, or loose pins.
Check Air Filters: A severely clogged air filter can disrupt intake airflow and trigger sensor errors. Inspect the primary engine air filter.
Inspect for Intake Leaks: Check the air intake hoses between the air filter housing and the engine for cracks or loose clamps.
Clean the Sensor: MAF sensors can become contaminated with dust or oil. Before replacing the unit, remove it and clean the element using a specialized cleaner (such as AGCO Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner A-2141).
