   Access the diagnostic interface using the dashboard menu or an AGCO Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) to verify the active code and check for related codes (e.g., 14.00.07 for open circuit, 14.00.06 for system charging too often).

   Inspect the brake pressure sensor (X21) signal voltage. A reading outside the normal operating range (>5 V or <1 V) indicates a failed sensor or wiring short.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors between the brake pressure sensor and the TRANS1 module for corrosion, chafing, or open/short circuits.

   Perform a mechanical pressure test to verify if the actual brake system pressure is dropping too quickly or failing to charge, indicating a mechanical leak or faulty pneumatic brake solenoid valve.

   Depressurize the System

   Ensure the tractor is turned off, parked on level ground, and the high-pressure air/hydraulic brake system is safely depressurized before opening any lines.

   Locate the Sensor

   Locate the high-pressure brake sensor on the transmission brake valve block or air brake circuit.

   Test/Replace the Sensor

   Disconnect the electrical connector. If the wiring tested fine in the diagnostic phase but the sensor is outputting out-of-range voltage, unthread the faulty sensor and install the replacement.

   Reassemble and Bleed

   Install the new sensor. If the hydraulic brake circuit was opened, bleed the brake system according to the service manual to remove any trapped air.

   Clear Codes

   Turn the ignition on, enter the diagnostic mode, and clear the stored 14.00.04 fault code.

   Operational Test

   Start the engine and allow the high-pressure brake system to charge. Test the brakes and ParkLock system to ensure the code does not return.
