Pressure within the tractor's high-pressure braking system has dropped below the minimum safe operating threshold. If the accumulated brake pressure is too low, the transmission may refuse to engage as a safety precaution.

   Check the condition of the air/hydraulic connection couplers between the tractor and the implement for leaks

   Verify hydraulic fluid levels and ensure the fluid is clean and at the correct capacity

   Check if the hydraulic filter warning light is illuminated, which can indicate internal brake disc wear and system contamination

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors leading to the brake pressure sensors for corrosion, open circuits, or shorts

   Verify that the hydraulic pump is operating correctly and generating sufficient pressure

   Secure the Tractor

   Park the tractor on flat ground, engage the park lock, and turn off the engine.

   Verify Actual Pressure

   Use a mechanical pressure gauge to test the actual pressure in the high-pressure brake circuit.

   Address Sensor Faults

   If the mechanical gauge shows normal pressure but the TRANS1 module still reads low pressure, the brake pressure sensor is likely faulty. Disconnect the sensor, replace it with a new OEM unit, and clear the fault codes.

   Address Genuine Low Pressure (External)

   If the pressure is genuinely low, inspect all external brake lines, trailer couplers, and valves for leaks. Replace damaged O-rings, hoses, or couplers as needed.

   Address Genuine Low Pressure (Internal)

   If no external leaks are found and the pump is working, the internal brake piston seals or the brake discs themselves may have failed. If the hydraulic oil is contaminated with metal shavings or brake material, do not drive the tractor. The system will need to be completely flushed, and the rear axle housings will need to be removed to replace the internal brake discs and seals.
