   Check transmission/hydraulic oil level, as low fluid can cause a drop in system pressure

   Inspect the high-pressure brake sensor (X21) wiring harness and connector for corrosion, chafing, or loose pins

   Test sensor signal voltage (readings >5 V or <1 V indicate a short or open circuit)

   Inspect brake lines, trailer brake valves, and ParkLock solenoid valves for visible hydraulic fluid leaks

   Test actual pressure using a mechanical pressure gauge on the brake system test port to verify if pressure is actually low or if the sensor is reporting a false low

   Secure the Tractor

   Park the tractor on a level surface, turn off the engine, and chock the wheels. Since the fault involves the brake system, do not rely solely on the ParkLock.

   Relieve Hydraulic Pressure

   Before removing any hydraulic components, relieve the residual pressure in the brake circuit by pumping the brake pedals several times with the engine off.

   Replace the Sensor (If Faulty)

   If mechanical pressure is verified to be good but the sensor reading is low, disconnect the electrical connector from the brake pressure sensor. Unscrew the old sensor from the valve block.

   Install the New Sensor

   Thread the new OEM pressure sensor into the port. Tighten to the manufacturer's specified torque to avoid damaging the O-ring or threads. Reconnect the electrical harness.

   Bleed the System (If Applicable)

   If hydraulic lines were opened or a leak was repaired, bleed the brake system according to the service manual to remove any trapped air.

   Clear Codes and Test

   Turn the key on and use the Massey Ferguson Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) or the dashboard diagnostic menu to clear the 14.02.01 fault code. Start the tractor, engage and disengage the brakes/ParkLock, and verify that the code does not return and that brake pressure registers normally.
