Massey Ferguson 14.03.02 – TRANS1: High Pressure Brake System Pressure Too Low DYNA 6 (TRANS1)

The pressure within the tractor's high-pressure braking system has dropped below the acceptable operational threshold. If the accumulated brake pressure is too low, the transmission may fail to engage as a safety precaution.

   Inspect the condition of the air/hydraulic connection couplers with the implement and verify the implement's braking system isn't causing a pressure drop

   Check the hydraulic fluid levels and fluid quality. Low fluid can prevent the system from building adequate pressure

   Inspect the hydraulic pump operation and check related fuses and wiring harnesses for electrical issues (such as shorts or open circuits)

   Test the brake pressure sensor. A faulty sensor sending an incorrect voltage signal can falsely trigger the low-pressure code even if mechanical pressure is fine

   Preparation

   Position the tractor on flat ground and ensure it is safely parked. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.

   Locate the Sensor

   Locate the high-pressure brake sensor / handbrake pressure sensor on the brake valve block.

   Removal

   Disconnect the electrical harness from the sensor. Unscrew the faulty pressure sensor.

   Installation

   Install the new OEM pressure sensor and reconnect the electrical harness.

   Bleeding the System

   You must bleed the high-pressure braking system and assisted brake master cylinders to remove any air introduced during the repair. Locate the bleed screws on the high-pressure braking system and follow the bleeding procedure outlined in the service manual.

   Clear Codes

   Access the diagnostic interface on the tractor's dash or use a handheld diagnostic tool to clear the 14.03.02 fault code.

   Testing

   Start the tractor, allow the system to build pressure, and test the brakes to ensure the code does not return.
