   Check for related sensor codes, such as 14.01.0A (Brake Pressure Sensor High Volts), which points directly to a failed sensor or a wiring short

   Check transmission and hydraulic fluid levels, as low fluid can starve the brake circuit of pressure

   Verify if the transmission suction filter has exceeded its 1,200-hour service interval and is clogged

   Inspect the high-pressure brake lines, trailer brake solenoid, and handbrake circuits for external hydraulic leaks

   Test the handbrake/trailer brake pressure sensor to see if it is reading out of range, which will report low pressure even if mechanical pressure is adequate

   Connect Diagnostic Tool

   Plug into the tractor's OBD port to confirm the 14.X.02 code in the TRANS1 module and clear any inactive historical codes.

   Service the Hydraulic/Transmission Fluid

   If the tractor is due for service, drain the hydraulic fluid and replace the transmission suction filter and hydraulic element filters.

   Replace the Brake Pressure Sensor

   If fluid levels are correct and pressure is mechanically verified but the code persists, locate the brake pressure sensor on the transmission/brake valve block. Disconnect the wiring harness, unthread the old sensor, and install the new OEM sensor.

   Bleed the System

   Ensure no air is trapped in the high-pressure brake lines after replacing the sensor or filters.

   Clear Codes and Test

   Use the diagnostic tool to clear the 14.X.02 code from the TRANS1 module. Start the tractor, engage and disengage the brakes, and verify that the system pressure normalizes and the code does not return.
