Massey Ferguson 14.X.06 – TRANS1: High Pressure Brake System Charging Too Often DYNA 6 (TRANS1)
Issue description
The high-pressure brake accumulator is inflating/charging too frequently, indicating that the system is rapidly losing its stored pressure. This is typically caused by a ruptured diaphragm inside the brake accumulator, a hydraulic leak in the brake circuit, or a faulty brake pressure sensor.

Check the cause
Inspect the entire high-pressure hydraulic brake circuit (valves, pipes, and fittings) for external fluid leaks
Test the nitrogen preload pressure of the brake accumulator (typically pre-charged to 9 Bar) to check for a ruptured diaphragm or lost charge
Check the brake pressure sensor (B233 or X495) and its wiring harness to ensure it is not sending erratic low-pressure signals to the TRANS1 module
Repair steps
Depressurize the System
Turn off the tractor and pump the brake pedals repeatedly until all hydraulic pressure is relieved from the accumulator circuit.
Replace the Accumulator (if faulty)
Locate the brake accumulator (a metal sphere/canister, usually near the transmission or brake valve block). Unthread the old accumulator and install the new OEM replacement.
Replace the Pressure Sensor (if faulty)
If diagnostics point to the sensor, disconnect the electrical harness, unthread the sensor from the valve block, and install the new sensor.
Bleed the Brakes
Because the hydraulic circuit was opened, you must bleed the brake system to remove any trapped air.
Clear Codes
Use a diagnostic tool to clear the 14.X.06 fault code from the TRANS1 module and test-drive the tractor to ensure the pump cycles normally.
