The fuel temperature has exceeded the maximum safe operating threshold (typically >85°C or 120°C). When this code is active, the engine may enter a derate condition to protect the fuel system components.

   Check fuel level — low fuel levels can cause rapid overheating because fuel is used to cool the injection system before returning to the tank

   Inspect engine coolant level, radiator, and fuel cooler (if equipped) to ensure proper airflow and heat dissipation

   Inspect the wiring harness and connections leading to the fuel temperature sensor for shorts to ground, shorts to the 5V supply, or open circuits

   Verify sensor output using a diagnostic tool (like AGCO WinEEM/Wintest) to monitor live fuel temperature data on a cold engine

   Top Off Fluids

   If the fuel tank is low, fill it with fresh diesel. Top off the engine coolant if necessary.

   Clean Coolers

   Blow out the radiator, fuel cooler, and front grille screens with compressed air to remove dust, chaff, or debris.

   Test the Machine

   Clear the fault code using a diagnostic tool and run the tractor under load to see if the code returns.

   Replace the Sensor

   If the cooling system is clean, the fuel tank is full, and the code persists (or if live data shows a faulty reading on a cold engine), locate the fuel temperature sensor on the fuel injection pump or fuel rail.

   Install New Sensor

   Disconnect the electrical connector, unthread the old sensor, and install the new sensor.

   Verify Repair

   Reconnect the harness, clear the ECU fault codes, and verify the repair.
