Massey Ferguson 1B.00.07 – Linkage/PTO/Light Module On The B-Pillar: Issue With Signal From Hitch Draft Control Dial (HITCH)
Issue description
The electronic control unit is receiving an erratic, out-of-range, or missing electrical signal from the potentiometer/switch used by the operator to set the 3-point hitch draft control sensitivity.

Check the cause
Check the draft control dial on the B-pillar/side console for physical damage, binding, or being stuck in a locked position.
Access the back of the draft control dial and inspect the wiring harness connector for pushed-out pins, corrosion, or chafed wires leading to the Linkage/PTO/Light Module.
Use a multimeter to check the voltage supply to the switch and verify the resistance sweep of the potentiometer (a dead spot in the dial's sweep will trigger this signal fault).
Verify there are no active LIN BUS or CAN BUS communication codes (such as 1B.00.04 or 1B.00.06) which would indicate a broader wiring or module failure rather than a localized dial failure.
Attempt an Electronic Draft Control Diagnostic Test Routine / Calibration via the tractor's diagnostic menu or dealer tool to see if the module can re-learn the dial's parameters.
Repair steps
Turn off the tractor ignition and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.
