Check the cause
Verify the tractor's battery voltage and ground connections, as voltage drops can cause memory/configuration storage errors in B-Pillar modules.
Check the LIN BUS and CAN BUS communication lines to the B-Pillar Button Panel.
Attempt to clear the code and perform a module reconfiguration/recalibration using the Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool (EDT) to see if the module will accept and store the configuration data.
Repair steps
Disconnect battery
Disconnect the tractor's battery before beginning module replacement.
Access control modules
Remove the interior trim on the right-hand B-Pillar to access the control modules.
Disconnect wiring
Disconnect the wiring harnesses from the Linkage/PTO/Light Module.
Replace module
Unbolt and replace the Linkage/PTO/Light Module.
Program new module
Reconnect the battery and use the dealer diagnostic tool to flash the new module and program the tractor's specific configuration.
Parts you might need
(1)Linkage/PTO/Light Module (B-Pillar Control Module)
Must be programmed by an authorized AGCO/Massey Ferguson dealer to match the specific tractor's VIN/build sheet.
