Issue description
General malfunction, internal failure, or communication loss with the tractor's "job calculator," which manages data such as speed, PTO RPM, ISOBUS implement communication, and transmission/suspension controls.

Check the cause
Check Power Supply: Verify the battery voltage and the specific 10-volt supply to the TECU.
Inspect Harnesses and Junctions: Inspect the wiring harnesses for damage, corrosion, or loose pins. Pay special attention to the X461 (Pillar harness/TECU harness junction) and ISOBUS ground connections.
CAN Bus Communication: Use a diagnostic tool (such as Jaltest or AGCO EDT) to read live data, check for CAN bus message errors, and verify if the TECU is communicating with the rest of the tractor network.
Repair steps
De-energize the Tractor
Disconnect the battery's negative terminal to prevent electrical currents and short circuits during installation.
Locate the TECU
The module is typically mounted inside the cab (often near the right rear pillar, armrest console, or under the side panel, depending on the specific tractor model).
Disconnect Harnesses
Carefully unplug the main wiring harnesses and the ISOBUS TECU adapter. If the connector has a red locking slider, pull it back fully to release the plug.
Remove the Module
Remove the mounting screws, nuts, and washers securing the TECU to its bracket, and extract the faulty unit.
Install the New TECU
Mount the replacement TECU in the same location and secure it with the original hardware.
Reconnect Wiring
Plug the ISOBUS adapter and main harnesses back into the module, ensuring the locking sliders are fully engaged.
Restore Power
Reconnect the tractor's battery.
Calibration and Programming
Connect a diagnostic tool to upload any required software. You will likely need to perform basic system calibrations managed by the TECU (such as transmission basic calibration, suspended front axle calibration, or rear lift calibration) and clear the 03.00.A3 fault code.
