   Voltage & Ground Check: Using a multimeter, verify that the position sensor is receiving its proper reference voltage (typically 5V) and has a solid ground.

   Calibration Check: Sometimes, a voltage out-of-range error can be triggered if the sensor has lost its calibration parameters. Attempt to run the "MFA armrest control system joystick calibration" via the diagnostic tool. If it fails to calibrate, the sensor is likely internally faulty.
