Issue description
The DEF tank heater solenoid valve is a 12V electric coolant-flow-control solenoid. Its job is to open and allow hot engine coolant to flow through stainless steel coils inside the DEF tank, thawing the Diesel Exhaust Fluid when ambient temperatures drop to or below its freezing point (12°F / -11°C). The "High Voltage" designation means the control module has detected a voltage on this circuit that exceeds normal operating parameters. This is typically caused by a short circuit to a high-voltage source (like battery power) or an open circuit that the module interprets as high voltage on the return/monitor pin.

Check the cause
Inspect the wiring harness and electrical connector leading to the DEF tank heater solenoid valve for rubbed wires, corrosion, or melted insulation that could cause a short to power.
Disconnect the solenoid and use a multimeter to measure the resistance across the solenoid's pins to determine if the coil is internally shorted or open.
With the key ON (engine off), check the harness side of the connector for proper voltage and ground to ensure the ECU is sending the correct signals and there is no short in the harness.
Run a 'DEF Heater Line Test' or manually actuate the coolant flow control valve using a diagnostic tool (like AGCO EDT) to see if the ECU can successfully command it without throwing the high voltage error.
Repair steps
Park the tractor on a level surface, shut down the engine, set the parking brake, and chock the tires.
Wear protective gloves to protect your hands from crystallized DEF. Allow the engine coolant to cool to a safe temperature.
Locate the DEF coolant-flow solenoid valve (typically mounted on or near the DEF tank header unit).
Disconnect the electrical connector from the solenoid.
Clamp off the coolant lines leading to and from the valve to minimize coolant loss.
Remove the retaining hardware and detach the faulty solenoid valve from the plumbing/header.
Official service bulletins state that if only the solenoid valve is malfunctioning, you should replace the solenoid valve assembly only. Do not replace the complete DEF header unit.
Install the new solenoid valve and secure the coolant lines.
Reconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the coolant line clamps and top off the engine coolant if any was lost.
Clear the fault codes using a diagnostic tool and run the engine to verify the repair.
