Massey Ferguson E3512.03 – EEM4: 12V sensor supply 1 voltage above normal
Issue description
The controller has detected a voltage on the 12-volt sensor supply #1 circuit that is out of range high, which typically points to a short to 12 volts in the wiring harness, a failed sensor, or an internal failure within the controller itself.

Check the cause
Inspect the engine wiring harness for a short circuit to a 12V power source on the 12V sensor supply 1 circuit.
Check for electrical failures or internal shorts in any sensors connected to the 12V supply 1 circuit by unplugging them one by one to see if the voltage drops back to normal and the code status changes.
If wiring and sensors are intact, test the ECU operation by temporarily connecting a known-good replacement EEM4 controller to see if the fault clears, indicating an internal ECU failure.
Repair steps
Repair Wiring/Sensors
If a short is found in the harness or a sensor is internally shorted, repair the wire or replace the affected sensor. Clear the codes and retest.
Replace the EEM4 Unit
If diagnostics prove the ECU is defective, it must be replaced. You must use a brand new EEM4 spare part unit. Do not use a salvaged unit from another tractor, as doing so can permanently add the donor tractor's engine hours to your machine.
Programming
Connect the AGCO Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT). Follow the software prompts to 'Deactivate the old EEM4 unit' first, physically install the new unit, and then run the activation and calibration procedure for the new EEM4 unit.
