   Visually inspect the boost pressure sensor (mounted on the intake manifold or intercooler outlet stub), wiring harness, and connector for chafing, corrosion, or loose pins.

   Perform a reference voltage test: Disconnect the sensor's electrical connector, turn the ignition key ON (engine off), and measure the reference voltage between the power wire and ground (should read a steady 5V).

   Perform a signal output test: Reconnect the sensor and back-probe the signal wire. While idling, the signal should read between 1.0V and 2.0V. As engine load or throttle increases, the voltage should rise smoothly.

   Identify chaotic signals: If the multimeter shows a chaotic output signal (voltage changing randomly, dropping to zero, or disappearing entirely), the sensor's internal circuitry has failed and it must be replaced.

   Preparation

   Turn off the engine, remove the key, and allow the engine/intake manifold to cool down.

   Removal

   Disconnect the electrical harness from the boost pressure sensor. Remove the retaining fastener(s) holding the sensor to the intake manifold or intercooler stub. Carefully pull the sensor straight out.

   Cleaning

   Inspect the mounting port for heavy soot or carbon buildup. Carefully wipe the port clean, ensuring no debris falls into the intake manifold.

   Installation

   Lubricate the O-ring on the new sensor slightly to prevent tearing. Push the new sensor firmly into the port and secure it with the retaining fastener.

   Reconnection

   Plug the electrical harness back in until it clicks securely.

   Clear Codes

   Turn the ignition on and navigate to the diagnostic menu on the tractor's display to select "Clear Codes" or "Reset Codes" (or use a diagnostic service tool).

   Verification

   Start the tractor and monitor the dashboard to ensure the code does not return under load.
