   Inspect the wiring harness and the connector at the Air Throttle Valve for chafing, melted wires, corrosion, or pushed-out pins.

   Using a multimeter, check the signal wire between the throttle valve connector and the ECU for a short to ground.

   Verify that the sensor is receiving its 5V reference voltage and has a solid ground from the ECU. If the 5V reference is missing, the issue is in the harness or the ECU.

   Remove the intake piping and inspect the throttle valve flap. Heavy soot or carbon buildup can cause the valve to stick, which may trigger position deviation or voltage faults if the internal actuator motor burns out.

   Power Down

   Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical spikes.

   Remove any engine covers, heat shields, or brackets obstructing access to the intake manifold.
