Massey Ferguson E651.13 – Engine ECU: Injector Number 1 Calibration Code Issue

Engine injector cylinder #1, Calibration value missing. The control module detects that the calibration code for Injector #1 is missing, invalid, or has not been programmed.

   Verify recent service history to see if Injector #1 was replaced without programming the new IQA code into the ECU

   Verify ECU history to check if the Engine ECU was recently flashed, updated, or replaced, which may have wiped the stored injector calibration values

   Locate Injector #1 on the engine block and write down the alphanumeric IQA/calibration code printed on the top or side of the injector head

   Connect a compatible diagnostic tool (e.g., AGCO EDT, Jaltest) and view the currently programmed injector codes in the Engine ECU to compare against the physical code

   Connect diagnostic scanner

   Connect a dealer-level diagnostic scanner (AGCO EDT or an aftermarket equivalent like Jaltest) to the tractor's diagnostic port.

   Turn ignition ON

   Turn the ignition key to the ON position (engine off).

   Navigate to Injector Coding

   Navigate to the Engine ECU menu, then select Parameters, Calibration, or Injector Coding (menu wording varies by tool).

   Select Cylinder

   Select Cylinder #1.

   Input calibration code

   Input the alphanumeric IQA calibration code exactly as it is printed on the physical injector.

   Save configuration

   Save/Write the configuration to the ECU.

   Cycle ignition

   Cycle the ignition key off for 30 seconds, then turn it back on.

   Clear codes and verify

   Clear the fault codes and start the engine to verify the E651.13 code does not return.
