Massey Ferguson 655.13 – Engine ECU: Injector Number 5 Calibration Code Issue

The engine computer detects that the calibration code (trim code or QR code) for the #5 cylinder fuel injector is missing, invalid, or corrupted in its memory.

   Verify if the #5 fuel injector was recently replaced without programming the new calibration code into the ECU

   Read the ECU memory using an OEM-level diagnostic scan tool (such as AGCO EDT) to check the currently stored code for Cylinder 5

   Physically locate the #5 fuel injector and read the alphanumeric calibration code stamped on the top, then compare it to the stored ECU code

   Check for ECU power loss or software glitches if the injector was not recently replaced

   Access the Injector

   Remove any engine covers necessary to clearly see the top of the #5 fuel injector.

   Record the Code

   Write down the alphanumeric calibration/trim code printed on the injector head.

   Connect Diagnostic Tool

   Plug your AGCO EDT (or equivalent capable scan tool) into the tractor's diagnostic port.

   Program the ECU

   Navigate to the Engine ECU -> Injector Calibration / Programming menu.

   Enter the Code

   Select Cylinder #5 and input the exact alphanumeric code you recorded from the injector. Save the configuration to the ECU.

   Clear and Test

   Clear the active 000655.13 fault code. Cycle the tractor's ignition key off for 30 seconds, then turn it back on and start the engine.

   Replace if Necessary

   If the ECU refuses to accept the code, the ECU software may need to be reflashed. If the injector itself has failed mechanically or electrically, you must replace the injector and then program the new injector's code into the ECU.
