The tractor's onboard diagnostic system has detected that the electronic draft control or rear linkage system has lost its calibration parameters, failed a recent calibration routine, or requires recalibration to accurately monitor and control the rear hitch's position and draft.

   Check for active sensor codes: Resolve or erase all other hitch-related fault codes first (such as sensor voltage or draft pin signal issues). If a position sensor is actively failing, calibration will not complete.

   Inspect wiring: Check the wiring harness and connectors leading to the hitch module and position sensors for damage, moisture, or loose connections.

   Clear mechanical interference: Ensure the hitch can move fully between the lift cylinders' minimum and maximum limits. There must be no interference present during hitch movement (e.g., ensure a quick coupler is not contacting the drawbar).

   Check sensor assembly: Ensure the position sensor is assembled properly. Verify any specific physical adjustments (e.g., 20 mm) required at the sensor linkage before electronic calibration.

   Preparation

   Park the tractor on a level surface. Do not attempt to calibrate the hitch with the tractor moving.

   Warm Up Fluids

   The transmission oil must be warmed to more than 38 °C (100 °F).

   Set Engine Speed

   Start the tractor and set the engine speed to 1600 RPM or higher, which must be maintained during the calibration.

   Enter Configuration Mode

   Turn the key switch to the ON position. Within the first ten seconds, press and hold the "PROG" key for two seconds. A short beep will indicate that the configuration mode is active.

   Run Calibration

   Access the controller screens for hitch calibration. Follow the on-screen prompts to cycle the hitch through its full range of motion, allowing the module to learn the upper and lower limits.

   Test

   Once calibration is complete, verify that the hitch raises and lowers smoothly without jumping and that the 8.03.B4 code has cleared. Note: If the calibration repeatedly fails, the linkage position sensor is likely defective and must be replaced.
