Massey Ferguson A.1X.20: External Hydraulic Valve 1 Issue

Issue description

Indicates a malfunction or communication failure associated with the first external hydraulic remote valve (spool valve).

Inspect the wiring harness and electrical connectors leading to External Hydraulic Valve 1 for corrosion, bent pins, or loose connections
Verify the sensor values for the spool position
Ensure there is proper communication between the dash/main controller and the mid-mount/rear valve modules
Connect a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool to read live data from the valve block and confirm if the issue is electrical or mechanical

Clear the DTC
Clear the DTC using a compatible diagnostic tool to see if the code is an active hard fault or a stored intermittent issue.
Repair or replace wiring
If the fault returns, disconnect the battery and repair or replace any damaged wiring leading to Valve 1.
Replace solenoid or sensor
If the wiring is intact, the electronic solenoid or the spool position sensor on External Hydraulic Valve 1 may need to be replaced.
Replace valve assembly
If the valve itself is internally bypassed or mechanically stuck, remove the valve from the rear hydraulic block and install a replacement unit.
Recalibrate hydraulic valves
Recalibrate the hydraulic valves using the tractor's onboard terminal or dealer software.
