   Inspect electrical connections: Check the wiring harness and connectors between the Dash, the Mid Mount Valve Module, and External Valve 2 for corrosion, damage, or loose pins.

   Check for contamination: Inspect the hydraulic oil and filter. Worn pump valves, tired seals, and contaminated oil can cause valve malfunctions.

   Sensor verification: Use a diagnostic tool to monitor the 'Spool Position Sensor Value' live data to see if the sensor is reading out of range.

   Preparation

   Ensure the tractor is turned off and hydraulic pressure is fully relieved from the system.

   Mark Connections

   Carefully mark and disconnect the control cables and hydraulic hoses of the compensating spool valves on the auxiliary spool valve block.

   Prevent Spool Rotation

   During the removal of the cables, it is essential to avoid turning the main spool of the valves through a half-turn. Doing so can cause accidental connecting of the service and pilot-pressure pipes.

   Clearance

   On some models, you may need to remove rear cab attachments and slightly raise the cab to access the valve block, ensuring there is no interference with the vertical exhaust assembly or windshield.

   Replacement

   Unbolt the faulty External Hydraulic Valve 2 from the valve bank. Install the new valve and replace any associated O-rings or transfer seals.

   Reassembly & Fluid

   Reconnect all marked hoses and cables. Replace the hydraulic oil and filter if contamination was found during diagnostics.
