   Read Live Data: Connect a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool to the diagnostic port to retrieve the exact sub-code (e.g., 0A.21.11) and monitor the live data for the External Hydraulic Valve 2 spool position sensor.

   Inspect Wiring and Connections: Thoroughly inspect the wiring harness, connector, and pins at the External Hydraulic Valve 2 for corrosion, moisture, or physical damage.

   Check Sensor Values: Verify if the spool position sensor value is reading out of range or stuck.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and relieve all hydraulic pressure from the system before servicing the valves.

   Clean the Area

   Thoroughly clean the area around External Hydraulic Valve 2 to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system.

   Address Wiring

   If the diagnostic check revealed a wiring issue, repair the damaged wires or replace the connector pigtail.

   Replace Solenoid/Sensor

   If the wiring is intact but the spool position sensor or solenoid is failing, remove the retaining bolts on the valve solenoid/sensor assembly.
