   Check for damaged, shorted, or open wiring leading to External Hydraulic Valve 2

   Inspect the valve's electrical harness for damaged or corroded connections

   Verify proper voltages and grounds at the spool position sensor and valve module

   Locate valve

   Locate External Hydraulic Valve 2 on the rear hydraulic block or mid-mount valve module.

   Test circuit

   Disconnect the electrical harness and test the circuit for continuity and proper voltage.

   Clean connections

   Clean any corrosion from the connector pins and re-seat the connection.

   Clear DTCs

   Clear the DTCs using a diagnostic tool or onboard dash sequence.

   Replace valve

   If the code returns and wiring is confirmed good, the spool valve assembly or its integrated position sensor has failed and the valve must be replaced.
