   Use a compatible diagnostic tool or interface device to confirm the active DTC.

   Inspect the 4-pin electrical connector and wiring harness leading to the 3rd remote electronic spool slice for corrosion, damage, or loose pins.

   Check the hydraulic valve block, spool valve assembly, hoses, quick couplers, and fittings for physical damage or fluid leaks.

   Isolate the Circuit

   Disconnect the electrical harness from External Hydraulic Valve 3. Clean the contacts and test the wiring for continuity back to the main harness.

   Replace the Valve (if faulty)

   If the wiring is intact but the valve fails to actuate or continues to throw the code, the electronic spool slice (or its pilot pressure control solenoid) has likely failed internally and must be replaced.

   Programming

   If replacing an electronic spool slice on modern series (like the 7600/7700), the new valve must be programmed to the tractor using a dealer diagnostic tool.

   Clear Codes

   After installation and programming, use the diagnostic tool to clear the DTCs and test the hydraulic remote to ensure the fault is resolved.
