   Check the Valve LED Indicator: Solid Red = power, Solid Green = input, Flashing = internal fault (e.g., 1-3-3 indicates no valve detected, 1-2-3 indicates a communication/joystick error).

   Access Autotronic 5 Sub-Codes: Turn the key on, push the clutch in and release it to clear the right screen, then hold down the 'up' arrow key. Check the DC and TC error codes on the left screen to isolate the electrical fault.

   Inspect Linkage and Centering: Ensure the external linkage is in the correct position and that the manual override levers (if equipped) are perfectly centered.

   If the electronic slice head has failed, depressurize the hydraulic system, disconnect the 4-pin electrical harness from Valve 3, unbolt the valve slice from the rear hydraulic block stack, and install the new Rexroth valve slice with new O-rings.

   Program and calibrate the newly installed electric spool slice to the tractor's Autotronic 5 system using Massey Ferguson's Wintest diagnostic software.

   Clear Codes

   Use Wintest or the in-cab diagnostic menu to clear the A.30.23 / 0A.30.23 error code from the AUTO5 memory.
