   Retrieve and verify codes using a diagnostic tool to confirm A.31.19 and check for related electrical codes (such as 0A.41.FF)

   Inspect the wiring harness and electrical connectors going to External Hydraulic Valve 3 for corrosion, damage, or loose connections

   Check the physical spool valve for external hydraulic fluid leaks or signs that the valve is sticking in one direction

   Locate External Hydraulic Valve 3

   On many Massey Ferguson models, the remote valve block is mounted directly on the lift cover under the seat.

   Address electrical issues

   If the issue is electrical (wiring/solenoid), repair the connection or replace the faulty solenoid.

   Remove the valve

   If the valve is leaking or sticking mechanically, remove the valve from the hydraulic block.

   Rebuild or replace the spool valve

   Rebuild the spool valve using an OEM repair kit (replacing the internal seals) or replace the entire 3rd spool valve assembly if the internal bore is damaged.

   Reinstall and clear codes

   Reinstall the valve, reconnect the ½” ISO 5675 quick couplers, and clear the DTCs using a diagnostic tool.
