   Locate External Hydraulic Valve 4 (the 4th remote/spool valve slice) on the rear hydraulic block.

   Inspect the electrical connector at the valve for dirt, corrosion, or moisture.

   Check the wiring harness leading to Valve 4 for chafing, breaks, or loose pins.

   Use a compatible diagnostic tool to clear the code and see if it returns immediately (hard fault) or intermittently.

   Power down

   Disconnect the battery or power down the tractor.

   Clean and reseat connector

   Clean and reseat the electrical connector on External Hydraulic Valve 4.

   Repair wiring

   Repair any damaged wiring in the harness leading to the valve.

   Replace spool slice

   If the wiring and connector are intact, the internal solenoid/electrical slice of the spool valve has likely failed and the electric spool slice must be replaced and reprogrammed to the tractor.
