   Inspect the wiring harness, connector, and pins at External Valve 5 for corrosion, moisture, or breaks (electrical connection problem).

   Use a compatible diagnostic tool to read live data for the Spool Position Sensor value on Valve 5. Look for erratic readings or a lack of response when commanded.

   Verify the hydraulic fluid is at the correct level and the hydraulic pressure filters are not clogged, as low pressure can cause valve actuation faults.

   Check if the valve feels physically stuck or fails to center, which indicates a mechanical detent failure.

   Relieve System Pressure

   Turn off the tractor and cycle the hydraulic controls to depressurize the system before unbolting any hydraulic components.

   Clean the Area

   Thoroughly clean the external hydraulic valve block at the rear of the tractor to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system during disassembly.

   Disconnect Electronics

   Unplug the electrical harness from the Spool Valve 5 solenoid and position sensor.

   Remove the Valve

   Unbolt the faulty spool valve section from the main hydraulic valve stack.

   Rebuild or Replace

   Install a complete new spool valve assembly, or if applicable, install a spool valve repair kit/detent kit by replacing the internal O-rings, precision-machined pistons, and cam blocks.

   Reassembly

   Bolt the new or rebuilt valve back into the stack, ensuring all O-rings between the valve slices are seated correctly. Torque to OEM specifications.

   Reconnect and Clear Codes

   Reconnect the wiring harness, top up the hydraulic fluid, and use a diagnostic tool to clear the 0A.50.1A code. Test the remote for proper operation.
