   Inspect the electrical connector and wiring harness leading to External Hydraulic Valve 5 (located in the rear hydraulic remote stack) for corrosion, damage, or loose connections.

   Test the valve's electrical solenoid for proper resistance and verify that it is receiving the correct voltage supply from the harness.

   Check the hydraulic spool valve for mechanical binding, sticking, or blockages.

   Use a compatible diagnostic tool or interface device to read live data and confirm if the issue is an electrical open/short circuit or a mechanical failure.

   Locate valve

   Locate External Hydraulic Valve 5 in the rear hydraulic remote stack.

   Clean contacts

   Disconnect the electrical harness from the valve solenoid and clean the contacts to rule out a simple connection issue.

   Repair wiring

   Repair or replace any damaged wiring in the harness leading to the valve.

   Replace solenoid or valve

   If the wiring is intact but the valve fails electrical testing, replace the faulty solenoid or the entire spool valve section.

   Reconnect harness
