   Inspect the wiring harness and the connector plugging into the 5th external hydraulic spool valve for corrosion, backed-out pins, or wire chafing.

   Verify that the solenoid coil for Valve 5 is receiving proper voltage and has continuity.

   Consult the tractor's specific service manual to interpret the exact electrical values expected at the valve slice.

   Isolate

   Isolate the 5th hydraulic spool valve slice at the rear remote valve block.

   Replace

   Replace the faulty electrical component (such as the Pilot Pressure Control or the Electric Spool Slice itself) if the wiring harness tests good.

   Rebuild

   If the valve is leaking or mechanically binding, rebuild the valve using an OEM spool valve repair kit.

   Program

   If a complete Electric Spool Slice is replaced, the new unit needs to be programmed to the tractor to function correctly.
