   Retrieve and verify codes using a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool to confirm 0A.60.22 is the active code

   Inspect the wiring harness and electrical connector at External Valve 6 (located at the rear remote valve stack) for dirt, corrosion, or loose pins

   Check the voltage reaching the solenoid for Valve 6

   Test the solenoid coil's resistance with a multimeter to determine if the coil has shorted or failed

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.

   Locate Valve 6

   Identify the 6th external hydraulic remote valve slice on the rear hydraulic valve block.

3. 3

   Clean and Reconnect

   Disconnect the electrical plug to the valve solenoid. Clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner. If the wiring is damaged, repair the harness.

   Replace the Solenoid/Coil

   If the wiring is intact but the valve fails to actuate (or fails a multimeter resistance test), remove the retaining nut on the end of the spool valve and slide off the faulty solenoid coil. Slide the new OEM coil onto the valve and secure it.

   Clear Codes

   Reconnect the battery, connect your diagnostic interface device, and clear the DTCs.

   Test Operation

   Start the tractor and operate the 6th hydraulic remote to ensure the code does not return and the hydraulic flow is restored.
