   Use a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool to retrieve the code and confirm it is active

   Locate the external hydraulic valve stack at the rear of the tractor and identify Valve 6

   Inspect the wiring harness, plug, and pins leading to Valve 6 for corrosion, moisture, or physical damage (connection problems are the primary cause)

   Check for proper voltage and ground at the valve connector

   Test the resistance of the Valve 6 solenoid to determine if the coil has failed internally

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during repair.

   Clean and Repair Connections

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a loose or corroded connector at Valve 6, clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner. Repair or replace any damaged wiring in the harness.

   Replace the Solenoid/Valve

   If the wiring is sound but the solenoid failed the resistance test, remove the retaining hardware on the Valve 6 slice and replace the faulty solenoid (or the entire electronic spool valve slice, depending on the stack's modularity).

   Reassemble and Clear Codes

   Reconnect the battery. Connect your diagnostic interface device to the tractor and clear the 0A.60.27 DTC.

   Operational Test

   Start the tractor and actuate the 6th hydraulic remote to ensure the valve operates smoothly and the code does not return.
