Check the cause
Inspect the hydraulic oil filter and transmission filter for blockages, as restricted oil flow is a primary cause of slow or weak hydraulics.
Ensure the hydraulic fluid is clean; contaminated oil can cause valves to stick.
Check for blocked or damaged hydraulic couplers and worn hoses that might restrict flow or cause pressure-related faults.
Determine if the hydraulics are slow (restricted flow), weak (pressure problem), or dead (no response).
Check if the spool valve is physically sticking in one direction or leaking externally.
If the control valve is stuck, attempt to release it by manually moving the valve lever back and forth.
Repair steps
Preparation
Ensure the tractor is turned off and hydraulic pressure is relieved before servicing.
Access the Valve
Locate External Hydraulic Valve 6 on the rear remote stack.
Removal
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses and electrical connections. Unbolt and remove the faulty control valve from the hydraulic system.
Inspection and Resealing
Inspect the valve for sticking spools or leaking seals. Disassemble the valve and replace the internal seals and O-rings using an OEM repair kit.
Reinstallation
Reinstall the repaired valve (or a new replacement spool valve) onto the lift cover/valve block. Reconnect all hoses and electrical connectors.
Fluid Maintenance
If the fluid was contaminated, flush the system and replace the hydraulic filter (recommended every 300–500 hours). Refill the system with OEM UTTO (Universal Tractor Transmission Oil).
Clear Codes
Use a compatible diagnostic tool to clear the 0A.62.25 fault code from the system.
