Check the cause

  1. Check for visible hydraulic fluid leaks around the external valve block, quick couplers, and hoses.

  2. Check the UTTO (Universal Tractor Transmission Oil) hydraulic fluid level and inspect for contamination such as metal shavings or dust.

  3. Inspect the electrical connections on the hydraulic valve for connection problems, and check the physical connection tightness at the pump and control valve.

  4. Check if the valve is sticking or jamming due to debris or internal wear.

  5. Inspect the hydraulic filters for debris or clogging.

Repair steps

  1. Address Fluid and Filters

If the hydraulic fluid is contaminated, flush the system and replace it with fresh UTTO fluid (like 10W40). Replace the hydraulic filters.

  2. Fix External Leaks

Tighten any loose connections at the control valve. If hoses are cracked or quick couplers are leaking, replace them immediately to restore system pressure.

  3. Service the Spool Valve

If the valve is sticking due to internal wear or debris, remove the external hydraulic valve assembly. Clean out any blockages.

  4. Rebuild or Replace

Use an OEM repair kit to replace the internal seals and components of the spool valve. If the valve body is heavily worn or the sticking persists, replace the entire spool valve assembly.

  5. Clear Codes

After the repair, use a compatible diagnostic tool or interface device to clear the DTC from the tractor's system.
