Check the cause
Check the electrical harness and CAN bus connectors at External Valve 6 for corrosion, bent pins, or wire chafing (wiring is a primary culprit, especially if code 0A.41.FF is also present).
Verify that the transmission system is generating adequate base hydraulic pressure to move the valve spool.
Verify the flow percentage and timer settings for Valve 6 in the tractor's color display or instrument cluster to ensure it hasn't been electronically locked out or misconfigured.
Inspect the spool valve for physical damage, leaks, or debris that might be causing mechanical binding and preventing the spool from stroking properly.
Repair steps
Relieve Pressure
Lower all implements to the ground, turn off the engine, and cycle the hydraulic controls to relieve all trapped pressure in the system.
Disconnect Electricals
Disconnect the CAN bus/electrical harness connector from External Hydraulic Valve 6.
Remove Hydraulic Lines
Mark and disconnect the hydraulic hoses/fittings from the rear of the valve. Cap all lines immediately to prevent system contamination.
Dismount the Valve
Unbolt the Valve 6 assembly from the main hydraulic block/stack.
Replace or Rebuild
Depending on the diagnosis, either install a new spool valve assembly or rebuild the existing valve using an OEM seal/O-ring kit.
Reinstallation
Mount the new/rebuilt valve to the hydraulic block. Reconnect the hydraulic lines (ensuring proper torque on the fittings) and plug in the electrical harness.
Test and Clear Codes
Top off the hydraulic/transmission fluid if any was lost. Start the tractor, test the remote for proper operation (checking for leaks), and use a compatible diagnostic tool to clear the 0A.6X.1A DTC from the system.
