   Retrieve and verify the exact alphanumeric code (e.g., 0A.60.28) using a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool

   Inspect electrical connections at Valve 6 for damaged pins, frayed wires, or loose connectors

   Check the hydraulic reservoir fluid level and inspect for any external leaks around the valve block

   Relieve System Pressure

   Lower all implements. Pump out the hydraulic reservoir through the valve by pulling the lever up (have a large bucket ready) or use the system's pressure relief method.

   Disconnect Electricals

   Unplug the wiring harness connected to External Hydraulic Valve 6.

   Remove Hydraulic Lines

   Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the valve block.

   Remove the Valve

   Unbolt the external hydraulic valve assembly from the lift cover/hydraulic block.

   Replace Seals/Valve

   Replace the faulty valve or rebuild it. Always replace the O-rings (e.g., the hydraulic oil pipe to lift cover O-ring).

   Reinstall

   Mount the new valve, reconnect the hydraulic hoses using the proper connector kits, and plug in the electrical harness.

   Refill and Clear

   Refill the hydraulic reservoir, bleed the system if necessary, and use a diagnostic tool to clear the DTC.
