   Use a compatible diagnostic tool to confirm 0A.70.22 is the active fault.

   Inspect the electrical connections on External Hydraulic Valve 7. Look for corrosion, loose pins, or damaged wiring on the 4-pin connector.

   Refer to the tractor's service manual to interpret the specific testing parameters for the valve's potentiometer/solenoid.

   Relieve hydraulic pressure

   Relieve all hydraulic pressure from the system before beginning work.

   Disconnect battery

   Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.

   Locate valve

   Locate External Hydraulic Valve 7 in the rear remote valve stack.

   Disconnect electrical connector

   Disconnect the 4-pin electrical connector from the Rexroth spool valve.

   Unbolt valve

   Unbolt the faulty valve section from the hydraulic block assembly.

   Install replacement valve or kit

   Install the replacement spool valve (or install an OEM repair kit if rebuilding the unit).

   Torque mounting bolts
