   Isolate the electrical supply and inspect the harness plugs connecting to External Valve 7 for corrosion, moisture ingress, or damaged pins

   Verify that the tractor's hydraulic fluid is at the correct level and that the main hydraulic pump is generating sufficient pressure

   Test the pilot pressure control for the electric spool valve to determine if the issue is electrical (the slice head unit) or mechanical (the valve block itself)

   Safety First

   Isolate the tractor's electrical supply to prevent short circuits. Relieve all hydraulic pressure from the system.

   Disconnect

   Carefully unplug the wiring harness from the faulty External Hydraulic Valve 7.

   Removal

   Unbolt the faulty electric spool slice from the valve stack.

   Preparation

   Clean the mounting surfaces thoroughly to ensure no dirt or debris enters the hydraulic system or prevents the new O-rings from sealing.

   Installation

   Install the new electric spool slice (or rebuilt valve) and torque the mounting bolts to OEM specifications.

   Reconnection

   Reconnect the harness plugs, ensuring they click securely into place.

   Programming

   New electric spool slices (such as part 3797234M6) must be programmed to the tractor using a dealer diagnostic tool before they will function correctly.

   Testing

   Restore electrical power, start the tractor, and test the remote valve for proper operation and leak-free performance.
