   Retrieve and verify the active codes using a diagnostic tool or interface device compatible with Massey Ferguson tractors

   Check the wiring harness and electrical connectors at External Hydraulic Valve 8 for connection problems

   Check the spool position sensor values for communication drops or sensor value issues

   Relieve all hydraulic system pressure before servicing the valve block.

   Ensure the system is depressurized for safety before beginning work.

   Disconnect the electrical harness to External Valve 8.

   Prepare the connection for inspection.

   Inspect the pins and connectors for corrosion or damage.

   If the harness is damaged, repair or replace the pigtail.

   Replace the electronic spool valve assembly or its solenoid/sensor.

   Perform this step if the connection is sound but the valve fails to operate or report its position.

   Clear the DTCs using the diagnostic tool to verify the repair.

   Confirm the fault code does not return after the repair is complete.
