   Verify the Code: Use a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool to retrieve and confirm the active DTC (may also appear as 0A.82.21).

   Inspect Electrical Connections: Thoroughly inspect the wiring harness, pins, and connectors at Valve 8 for corrosion, damage, or loose fittings.

   Isolate the Circuit: Test the three-point hitch to see if it lifts properly. If the three-point arms work but the external circuit does not, the issue is isolated to the external hydraulic valve rather than a main hydraulic pump failure.

   Check for Leaks: Inspect the valve body and external cylinders for physical hydraulic fluid leaks or pressure loss.

   Relieve System Pressure

   Before servicing, relieve all hydraulic pressure. If necessary, pump out the hydraulic reservoir through the valve into a large bucket (this can be messy).

   Disconnect Electronics

   Disconnect the electrical wiring harness from External Hydraulic Valve 8.

   Remove Hydraulic Lines

   Carefully unthread and disconnect the hydraulic hoses/lines attached to the valve body.

   Unbolt the faulty external hydraulic valve from its mounting bracket or the hydraulic block.
