   Inspect the wiring harness, pins, and connectors leading to External Hydraulic Valve 8 for corrosion, fraying, or loose connections

   Verify that the hydraulic fluid is at the correct level and is not contaminated

   Check the physical valve block (Valve 8) for external leaks, blown O-rings, or physical damage

   Ensure the hydraulic pump is functioning properly and delivering adequate pressure to the external hydraulic circuits

   Depressurize the System

   Turn off the tractor and relieve all hydraulic pressure from the external valves before servicing.

   Repair Wiring

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a wiring issue, clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner, repair any broken wires, and securely seat the connector to Valve 8.

   Replace the Valve

   If the electrical circuit is sound but the valve fails to actuate or leaks internally/externally, remove the mounting bolts and hydraulic lines to Valve 8 and replace the external hydraulic valve assembly.

   Clear the Code

   Use a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool or interface device to clear the DTCs from the system.

   Test Operation

   Start the tractor, bring the hydraulic fluid up to operating temperature, and actuate the remote to ensure the code does not return and the implement operates smoothly.
