Massey Ferguson B.00.02 – Mid Mount Valve Module: Loader Mid Mount Electro Valve Solenoid Low Amp Draw

The system detects that the solenoid controlling the mid-mount loader valve is pulling less electrical current (amperage) than expected, which typically points to high resistance in the circuit, a loose connection, or a failing solenoid coil.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors between the Dash and the Mid Mount Valve Module for corrosion, loose pins, or damage

   Test the Loader Mid Mount Electro Valve Solenoid for proper resistance (Ohms) to check for an unusually high resistance reading indicating a failing internal coil

   Look for accompanying codes such as 0B.00.04 (Open Circuit) or 0B.00.16 (No Communication) to isolate whether the issue is at the solenoid itself or in the wiring harness/module communication

   Disconnect battery

   Disconnect the battery.

   Locate valve block

   Locate the Mid Mount Electro Valve block on the loader hydraulics.

   Disconnect harness

   Disconnect the electrical harness from the affected solenoid.

   Clean contacts and test/replace solenoid

   Clean the contacts. If the solenoid fails a multimeter resistance test, unbolt and replace the solenoid cartridge.

   Reconnect and clear codes

   Reconnect the harness and clear the DTCs via a compatible diagnostic tool.
