   Inspect the wiring harness leading to the mid-mount valve block for chafed wires, pinched harnesses, or physical damage.

   Disconnect the electrical plug at the affected mid-mount valve solenoid and check for water ingress, dirt, or corroded pins.

   Use a multimeter to measure the resistance (Ohms) across the pins of the solenoid coil. High resistance or lack of continuity confirms internal failure.

   Verify that the harness is delivering the correct reference voltage and has a solid ground when the loader joystick is actuated.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor, remove the key, and disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shorts.

   Locate the Valve

   Identify the specific mid-mount electro valve block and locate the solenoid throwing the code.

   Disconnect Wiring

   Unplug the electrical connector from the faulty solenoid.

   Remove the Coil

   Remove the retaining nut or fastener at the end of the valve stem that holds the solenoid coil in place.

   Swap the Part

   Slide the old solenoid coil off the hydraulic valve cartridge. (Note: You usually do not need to open the hydraulic system or remove the valve cartridge itself, preventing fluid loss).

   Install

   Slide the new solenoid coil onto the stem and secure it with the retaining nut. Do not overtighten.

   Reconnect

   Plug the electrical harness back into the new solenoid.

   Clear Codes

   Reconnect the battery. Use a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool or interface device to clear the DTCs from the system and test the loader joystick to ensure the code does not return.
