Issue description
The control module is detecting an electrical current (amperage) that is lower than the minimum required threshold when attempting to energize the loader's mid-mount electro-hydraulic valve solenoid, indicating high electrical resistance in the circuit.

Check the cause
Visual Inspection: Locate the mid-mount valve block (usually mounted on the right side of the tractor frame below the cab) and inspect the wiring harness leading to the solenoids for chafing, rodent damage, or tight bends.
Connector Check: Disconnect the plug at the affected solenoid. Check for dirt, water ingress, or green corrosion on the pins.
Coil Resistance Test: Using a digital multimeter, measure the resistance (Ohms) across the two pins of the solenoid coil. A healthy 12V coil typically reads between 5 to 10 Ohms. If it reads 'OL' (Open Loop) or unusually high resistance, the coil is dead.
Voltage Supply Test: With the connector unplugged, have an operator actuate the loader joystick in the cab (key ON, engine OFF). Measure the voltage at the harness connector to ensure the Mid Mount Valve Module is sending the correct voltage signal.
Check for Related Codes: Look for spool position sensor codes (e.g., 0B.00.17 through 0B.00.21 or M17-M21) which could indicate a mechanical sticking issue in the valve spool rather than just an electrical coil failure.
Repair steps
Power Down
Turn off the tractor, remove the key, and disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent short circuits.
Clean the Area
Thoroughly clean the exterior of the mid-mount valve block with brake cleaner or compressed air to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system.
Disconnect Wiring
Unplug the electrical connector from the faulty solenoid.
Remove the Coil
Remove the retaining nut or cap screw at the end of the solenoid cartridge.
Slide Off the Coil
Carefully slide the faulty electromagnetic coil off the valve stem. (Note: You do not need to open the hydraulic system or remove the valve cartridge itself, so no hydraulic fluid should leak).
Inspect the Stem
Ensure the valve stem is not bent, scored, or heavily rusted.
Install New Coil
Slide the new solenoid coil over the stem. Install and tighten the retaining nut (do not overtighten, as this can crack the plastic coil housing).
Reconnect
Plug the electrical connector back in, ensuring the weather seal clicks into place.
Clear Codes & Test
Reconnect the battery. Use a compatible diagnostic tool (or the dash interface) to clear the stored DTCs. Start the tractor and test the loader joystick in all directions to confirm the repair.
