Massey Ferguson D130 – Instrument Panel / Dashboard (DCC2 / DCC3): Battery voltage too low (non-filtered battery signal)

The raw, unconditioned voltage reading coming from the battery to the control module has dropped below the acceptable threshold (typically below 11V).

   Ensure the battery terminals are securely fastened, tight, and completely free of contamination or corrosion.

   Check if the alternator output is low, which would cause the overall system voltage to drop.

   Measure the non-filtered battery supply voltage directly at terminal 68 of the DCC2 instrument panel connector.

   Inspect the wiring harness for an open circuit, chafing, or a loose connection between the battery/fuse box and the dashboard.

   Clean and Tighten

   Disconnect the battery cables, clean the posts and terminals with a wire brush, and securely reconnect them. Clear the code and retest.

   Test Charging System

   Start the tractor and test the voltage at the battery. If it is not charging properly (usually around 14V), diagnose and repair/replace the alternator.

   Harness Repair

   If the battery and alternator are functioning correctly, trace the non-filtered power circuit to the instrument panel. Repair any broken wires or corroded connectors leading to terminal 68.

   Module Repair/Replacement

   If terminal 68 is receiving the correct voltage but the D130 code remains active, the instrument panel (DCC2/DCC3) has an internal hardware fault. The cluster will need to be sent out for remanufacturing/repair or replaced entirely.
