Check the cause

  1. Inspect the wiring harness and connection under the armrest for loose pins or erratic connections.

  2. Verify if recent service work was performed on the potentiometer, DCC3 controller, or instrument panel, as these require a recalibration.

Repair steps

  1. Turn on display

Turn on the tractor's display screen / instrument panel.

  2. Navigate to calibration menu

Navigate to the calibration menu using the keypad.

  3. Select calibration

Select the icon for 'Calibrating the forward lever on the armrest' and press 'OK'.

  4. Verify neutral position

The screen will display the current position of the lever on the first line. It should indicate 'Neutral'.

  5. Push lever forward

Push the armrest lever fully forward to the '+' position.

  6. Observe screen

Observe the screen; the value on the first line should change to reflect the new position.

  7. Save calibration

Follow the on-screen prompts to save the calibration and exit the menu.

  8. Replace potentiometer if calibration fails

If the calibration fails, or if the screen values do not change when you move the lever, the potentiometer (Component X106) has failed internally and must be replaced.
