   Check the 9.5V reference voltage supplied by the dash at the keypad connector (if failing at the dash level, codes D189 or D190 may also be present)

   Inspect harness connectors X59 (on the instrument panel) and X57 (at the keypad) for loose pins, moisture, or corrosion

   Test the wiring harness between the keypad and instrument panel for continuity and ensure the signal wire is not shorted to ground

   Physically inspect the navigation buttons to ensure none are jammed, stuck in the depressed position, or damaged by water intrusion

   Disconnect Power

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the negative battery terminal to protect the sensitive dash electronics.

   Access the Keypad

   Remove the necessary trim panels on the right-hand console or dashboard (depending on the specific model's cab layout) to access the rear of the Dash Control Center keypad (X57).

   Harness Repair

   If diagnostic checks revealed a broken or chafed wire between X57 and X55 (Instrument Panel), splice and repair the wire using OEM-grade heat-shrink connectors.

   Replace the Keypad

   If the wiring and 9.5V supply are intact, the keypad has failed internally. Disconnect the X59 harness, unclip/unscrew the old keypad from the console bezel, and install the new unit.

   Clear Error Codes

   Reconnect the battery and turn the ignition on. Use the new keypad to navigate to the 'DC' menu on the dash screen to erase error codes stored in the instrument panel, or use a dealer diagnostic tool.
