Check the cause

Harness Inspection: Inspect the wiring harness and the electrical connector at the EGR valve for corrosion, pushed-out pins, or chafed wires.
Visual/Mechanical Inspection: Remove the EGR piping to inspect for severe soot/carbon buildup that could be physically jamming the valve mechanism.
Repair steps
Preparation
Ensure the engine is completely cool. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Access the Valve
Locate the EGR valve assembly, which is typically mounted near the exhaust manifold and mated to the EGR cooler.
Disconnect Electricals
Unplug the electrical harness connector from the EGR valve actuator.
Hardware Removal
Carefully remove the mounting nuts/bolts attaching the EGR valve to the EGR cooler and the bellows hot pipe. Crucial Warning: Do not dent, severely bend, or otherwise damage the bellows hot pipe during removal. If the bellows pipe is damaged, it must be replaced.
Remove the Valve
Pull the EGR valve away from the cooler. Discard the old metal gaskets.
Clean Mating Surfaces
Thoroughly clean the carbon and old gasket material from the mating surfaces on the EGR cooler and manifold to ensure a perfect seal.
Installation
Install the new EGR valve using new gaskets. Thread the mounting hardware by hand to prevent cross-threading, then torque the nuts/bolts to the manufacturer's specification (typically around 22–26 N·m / 16–19 lb·ft depending on the specific AGCO engine).
Reassembly
Reconnect the electrical harness and the battery.
Calibration
Connect a diagnostic tool to clear the E2791 fault code. Run the engine and perform any required EGR initialization procedures via the diagnostic software so the ECU can learn the new valve's end-stops.
