Check the cause

  1. Check battery voltage and ensure terminals are secure, tight, and completely free from dirt or corrosion

  2. Inspect the ECU Main Relays (Relay 1, Relay 2, and Relay 3) for short circuits to EARTH or BAT+

  3. Check the 5V DC supply lines (Supply 1, 2, and 3) for low or high voltage faults

  4. Connect the AGCO EDT (Electronic Diagnostic Tool) to view freeze-frame data and verify if the ECU shutdown function is defective

Repair steps

  1. Clear codes

Clear the codes using the EDT diagnostic tool.

  2. Test relays

Test the ECU main relays and replace them if they are sticking or failing to cut off power.

  3. Update software

Flash/update the ECU software to the latest version to resolve logic errors.

  4. Replace ECU

Replace the Engine ECU if the internal self-test cut-off paths have permanently failed.
