The engine management system has detected an error regarding its internal software protection, often caused by a failed, interrupted, or invalid software update, or a mismatch in the ECU's programming.

   Verify recent service history to determine if an ECU flash, software update, or module replacement was recently attempted (an interrupted flash is the primary cause).

   Check for accompanying codes, specifically E9107 (Incorrect ECU address selection), which confirms a programming configuration error.

   Connect diagnostic tool

   Connect the proprietary AGCO Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) to the tractor's diagnostic port.

   Establish communication with the Engine Control Unit.
